"Krabi, here I'm." Im sure many of u won't know there are such a beautiful island located at South of Thailand. Last few days, 6 of us went to krabi and phi phi island for bag pack. It has been 5th time i went to Thailand after visited Bangkok and Phuket.Krabi is just a small town like Haiyai but it is near to the beaches. There are many small island such as chicken island, Poda island, Hong island. It is approximately 10 islands in total. (Warning : It is an expensive places to visit, please bring more money.)
On the first day of our trip, we decided went to Phi phi island straight away. Due to the misunderstanding with the bus driver, we went to the wrong place for depart. We have limited time but finally we able to reach Phi phi island.(Warning: Dont believe 100% depend on Local people when u are asking for direction.)
The first impression of my phi phi island is fantasy great just like Redang Island with blue sea and sky. Unfortunately, the dirty of the island spoil my imagination. The island is under construction after the result of tsunami attacked last few year. I was scared the tsunami attacked will appear again this time. No doubt u will surprise that many tourists went there for holidays especially mat salleh. Scuba diving definitely is famous there because there are so many attractive dive site near that area. After we had arrived to phi phi island, i can't really control myself to join the local dive. I were so excited because i didnt dive for a long time after i got my diving licence. I'm a bit worried because im not familiar dive at the new environment. So, i persuaded kelvin koh to join the diving trip. Luckily, I paid Rm 220 and he has to pay Rm 330 for 2 times dived a day at phi phi island. If u have the diving licence, will be cheaper. These is the first time i dived with mat salleh instructor diver. Both of us was happy to depart the dive site. After my first time dived, kelvin said that he wanted to give up second dive because he fed up with the training that he has faced.(Warning: Don't panic, Never Hold the breath and Don't touch anythings when dive, it is dangerous.)
I really enjoyed scuba diving and i has addicted with it. "Regin, u make me can't earn money anymore because Diving is a very costly water sport activity". I has joined the PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors). It spend me about Rm 1500 for my diving course. Moreover, every dives u take and u have to pay for the dive trips and accommodation. Do u think it is a costly activity? At last, i was enjoy the training and activity. It is quite amazing and exciting to dive below under water world for 18meter. I target to aim my advance open water diver licence on coming year so that i could dive until 30 meter. (Warning: Think before u join the scuba diving course, u may addict with it and u will spend a lots of money in the end.)
6 of us have small arguments the day after the dived due to delay for abroad went back to krabi town by ferry. I just kept silent and do not dare to sound out my voice. The fire is spreading beside me widely. After reached to krabi town, 4 of them had planned to join the local trip included "small" hot spring waterfall, "dirty" crystal pool, "short" elephant trekking, and "unfinished" tiger cave temple trips. I have to follow the order. I wasted a day to take part into the journey and cause us no time go to other beautiful islands. Finally, We cant make it to Hong island(the most beautiful island). Finally we could only able to visit Chicken and Poda islands because it is the nearest ones. (Warning: Travelling may have many different opinions and suggestions with a group of people.)
The elephant trekking is the adventure activity that we done. We had took 190 photo just with the elephant, and the krabi banana is really "On Sales", 50 Baht=Rm 5. This is my first time and also my last time to ride elephant because it is costly. Magazine said that Crystal pool is ASEAN of 'jiew jai kou' in China. It is really 'kou'. It just look like a swimming pool. This also can consider as an interesting places to visit? My advice is we better take a breath to enjoy the sea view of Aonang beach or go for snorkelling at other islands. (Warning: It is not harm to join elephant trekking with a group of people.)
Aonang and Railay beaches are the best places to go for your vocation and it is near with krabi town. We stayed for a night and having dinner afterwords. Early in the morning at 7am, we rent a long tail boat for only Rm 140 to Chicken and Poda Island. The Thai Driver wasn't punctual cause us delay to depart. We have limited time and we must reach airport flight back to Malaysia before 11am . Although it is only 3 hours trip, we had a lots of fun and the photo session continued shooting among 6 of us. We really look like crazy in front of the camera because it is the only way that we could capture the memories to remember back an unpredictable journey among us. "Guys, let us plan another trips, don't let it stop."
